We’re very excited by this magnum of white Burgundy in a bag. The wine isn’t made from Chardonnay though, but rather from its increasingly exciting counterpart in Aligoté, here grown on decomposed granite soils on the south-facing Les Enceints vineyard 380 metres above sea level. The ideal positioning of the grapes means the wine has generous fruit concentration, as well as the lively zippiness you expect in Aligoté.
