A clean, elegant and full-bodied blend of organic Furmint, Sauvignon Blanc and Welschriesling grown on ‘opok’ (compressed clay & marl) soils in Stajerska, the Styrian part of Slovenia. Food-friendly and versatile with aromas of orchard fruits, green mango and hallmark Styrian reduction that leads to a fresh palate with distinct mineral backbone and saline undertones. Harvested by hand, the grapes were direct-pressed for fermentation on lees in large Austrian foudre for 10 months and spent another 2 months in stainless steel tank before bottling.
