Xavière Hardy planted vines illegally in a forbidden part of the Loire, where there are no vineyards for miles. She then fought for the right to keep them here. This wine is a really a blend of (a) grape grolleau, (b) delicate notes from the herbal teas, local flowers she uses instead of chemicals on her vineyard and (c) Xavièr's unrequited love for her vines. This particular cuvee was aged in our suppliers cellar for a full year, so it sings just right, and boy does it do that now. This is a fully natural wine, in the purest sense, one for the philistines who don't mind getting their hands dirty.
