Red and white wine mixed together, no literally. After a bumper harvest in ‘19, one late evening, an overworked Diego had run out of barrels for his white. He resorted to filling some red graped Mencia barrels with residual juice left in them, leaving for 5 months. The result as he joked was ‘rosé de blancs’. This is wild, gastronomic, delightfully delicious. A must try. Diego likens winemaking to raising children, freedom being the most important thing in adding character. This wine is a joyride.
