Lush, honeyed, and quietly luxurious — this is Gewürztraminer enhanced beautifully by a touch of noble rot. Botrytised grapes from the Bannwarth family were direct-pressed, fermented in fibreglass tanks, before ageing for three-and-a-half years in old barrels without topping up. Sweetness and spice meet gentle salinity and savoury depth, all enhanced by the slow wonders of oxidation.
