If salinity and citrus is your thing, this one’s for you. Strohmeier combines 70% Pinot Blanc with 30% Chardonnay, which spend just 5 hours on the skins, before gentle pressing, fermentation and aging in 500-liter used wooden barrels for a year. Subtle use of skin contact gives a wine full of aromatic character and stone fruit flavour, but balanced by youthful freshness.
