20 year old vines planted 350m above sea level a few kilometres north of Banyuls, in the picturesque hills in the lower reaches of the Pyrenees, a few miles from the Spanish border in the easternmost corner of the South of France. The vines capture the Mediterranean breeze. Grenache grapes are carefully crushed by foot and pressed off into old barrels for 9 months. Herbaceous, floral & full of character, the palate is bursting with dark fruits and finishes with a welcome savoury spiciness.
