This is Alexandre’s explosively aromatic, lifted blend made with the free-run juice from de-stemmed Cinsault, with a little Carignan and Grenache from 50-60 year old vines planted on marble in Faugeres, Languedoc. It bursts with aromas of stewed red berries, figs and sweet spice accented by a touch of volatile acidity that helps the fruit shine. Open and sappy on the palate with black and red currant fruits, garrigue and fine, drying tannins. Aged in fibreglass tanks for 10 months and bottled without anything added whatsoever. Boom goes the Dynamite!
