Single-vineyard Garnacha grown on the same Llicorella slate as you find in Priorat. The vines – a mixture of 75–years-old and 20-years-old – are located 800 metres above sea level, and after part destemming, undergo an extended maceration of 2-4 months in clay amphora, before ageing in a mixture of large old barrels and the amphora, and bottling unfiltered but with a touch of sulphur. Bursting with plush black fruits, underlain by a striking minerality from the Llicorella terroir.
