From a parcel of 2/3 Aligote & 1/3 Melon , of which two-thirds of the parcel are own-rooted (ungrafted). Benoit pressed the grapes direct and aged in barrel. The Aligote brings tension and focus, the Melon roundness and aromatics. Already drinking well, this is fleshy and textural with round fruit, youthful and fun now, it will gain complexity with age.
