Matassa makes some of the world’s most enticing orange wines, with ample character always met by impressive structure. Here, Macabeo, Muscat Blanc, and Moscatel de Grano Menudo are co-fermented whole-bunch with indigenous yeast in concrete tanks, spending ten weeks macerating on the skins, with a further eight months ageing in the same vessels. Its coral glow draws your eyes in, with the nose and palate abundant with tropical fruit, and hints of elderflower and spice adding complexity.
