‘Vinyle’ is a direct and precise blend of Jura’s two main white grape varieties, Chardonnay and Savagnin, grown on clay soils by winemaker Marie Bourdon just outside of Arbois. Expect signature aromas of meyer lemon with touches of stone fruits, pastry and wet stone, all carried by brisk acidity on the palate. As this is Marie’s final vintage under her own label, it’s without a doubt a rare bottle for Jura aficionados alike, but also a great introduction for drinkers less familiar with the regions’ style of white wine. Drinks well now, but will also mature beautifully over time.
