There is great value to be found in the Languedoc, as this wine shows. Produced from a blend of old vines of Carignan, Syrah and Grenache grown on limestone-clay soils, all the grapes undergo carbonic maceration, followed by ageing in cement. Fruity and fresh but with some aromatic notes of thyme, rosemary, and spice.
