Elegant, complex and soulful expression of Chardonnay from the perhaps less-heralded region of Doubs, situated in between Burgundy and the Jura. Layered aromas of gunflint reduction and ripe white stone fruits mingles with a structured and evolving palate of citrus rind, pineapple, whipped butter, toasted almond and hints of butterscotch, and a hint of green apple. Ethereal wines of this pedigree need time to reach full maturity and after 15 years in bottle it is very much hitting its stride!
