Silky, elegant and pure, but tensile and earthy Pinot Noir. The wine is produced from vines grown on pure limestone soils just outside of Saint Bris, which undergo whole cluster fermentation for twelve days followed by ageing in old barrels for 20 months, and just minimal SO2 added at bottling. Lots of wild berries and hints of violet and potpourri make for a very attractive nose, and the balance between fruit and aromatics on the palate is really enticing.
