Legend, Penedes senai, neighbour, very good friend, and former mentor Toni Carbó, has come together with Nuria Renom to make a sensational one off wine. Half is Toni’s fruit, the half Nurias, but vinified in T’s cellar, one that Oranj was privileged enough to visit in January of this year. Destemmed Macabeu macerated for 4 days and then fermented to fully dry in stainless steel. Parellada which always ripens much later on vines is pressed directly and the juice added to the Macabeu. Was bottled and left 10 months on the lees in bottle before disgorging. A special one.
