It’s safe to say many of Trish Nelson’s wines are among our longtime favourites and Bianco Fioraldo is no different! A blend of organic Trebbiano, Malvasia and Grechetto Bianco from old vines overlooking Lake Bolsena, it spent a week macerating on skins before being pressed off to chestnut barrels for a year. Energetic yet delicate with yellow plum, smoke and pleasing mineral overtones, it surely hits that sweet spot of finesse, complexity and ‘yumminess’ which made us fall head over heels for Gazzetta in the first place.
