A wonderfully wild and explosively flavoured skin-contact stunner. The wine is a blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc grown on the lowest part of the slopes, which spend a few days on the skins, before fermentation in wooden vats, and 22 months ageing in the same vessels, and bottling without filtration, fining, or added sulphites. The evolving aromas and flavours of the wine include lemon, lychee, lime leaf, thyme, and elderflower, and the palate is sappy, vivacious, and mineral-driven.
