‘Oniric’ means dreamer in Catalan. This wine is born out of winemaker Maria Barrena's project to save neglected, old vines. Penedes wonder grape Xarel-lo fermented on the skins for 18 days in harvest vats, the Paradella was directly pressed and fermented separately before being brought together to age in amphora for 6 months before bottling. Unfined, unfiltered. Both sweet and savoury and certainly a wine we’d pair with food.
