This is an elegant and delicate expression of Poulsard from Arbois winemaker Raphael Monnier that will seduce lovers of Pinot Noir with its lifted red berry fruits, rose petal, autumnal spice, followed by taut acidity and gentle tannins on the palate. Shimmering pale garnet in colour, this wine is all about sophisticated fun and pairs best with poultry, smoked meats, or a Saturday night cheese platter! The grapes come from biodynamically cultivated, 50 year old vines planted on black marl near Buvilly. Harvested by hand, de-stemmed and left to macerate for 3 weeks before resting in tank for 18 months. A delicious varietal expression of Poulsard for the lucky few who grab a bottle before it’s gone!
