A beautifully soft fruited, direct-press Chardonnay from Alsace winemaker, Vincent Larcelet. Lifted floral aromas of jasmine, orange blossom and a palate which reveals how years of working under Jura masters, such as Jean-Francois Ganevat, has shaped Vincent’s style of winemaking. Fresh and full of energy with brisk and slightly bitter acidity, giving the wine structure and complexity reminiscent of non-oxidative Jura Chard that carries the wine’s beautiful accents of lemon pith, pear sherbets and almond. Harvest by hand and a gentle pressing was followed by spontaneous fermentation on wild yeasts and aged in 600L barrels with nothing added or taken away. Being only his second vintage to date, this is definitely an Alsace winemaker to watch!
