Taste & Terroir: This is a blend of roughly three quarters Chardonnay and one quarter Savagnin from forty year old vines planted over Jurassic marls in La Mailloche. The grapes were given a direct press straight to cuve for a year of élevage. This is the first time we’ve tried this wine without maceration and it is a remarkable expression of this great terroir, displaying a tightrope balance of power and poise, this will reward drinkers for many years to come.
