A real highlight from a recent tasting of about 50 wines on a Monday! I liked it so much that I ended up taking a bottle with me to a BYOB curry house in Honour Oak called Babur (also highly recommend). It’s a deeply sophisticated rosé that says I’m the summer fruit that will gently lead you into Autumn. Sensual, concentrated with really balanced acidity. Grapes picked from mainly bush vines grown between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean, you can almost taste the garrigue scrub and forest that shelter the vines. Truly magnificent.
