A blend of typically brooding grapes given a fresh lift. Young vines of Grenache Noir, Carignan and Syrah planted on calcareous soils in northern Corbières are de-stemmed, macerated for three weeks in concrete and then aged in tank until the following spring. Black fruits, pepper and herbaceousness combine in an easy-drinking wine still marked by some concentration and depth.
