Chanterêves ‘Les Chaignots’ 2022 – Côte de Beaune, Burgundy
A deeply mineral and structured expression of Burgundy’s unsung white grape. From a 0.17-hectare plot of old-vine Aligoté Doré, farmed biodynamically and ploughed by horse, the wine is aged in neutral oak 227-600L oak barrels, before bottling without fining and only a light filtration. Drinks delicately on the plate, with aromas of lemon pith, apricot skin, jasmine and crushed stone.
