Pedecastello Rosato, 2019 - Ombretta Agricola
A little known drink called 'Prosecco' is from around the corner. Luckily this Pinot Noir bubble-rosato is from up the hill, and has none of the 'stuff' added inside like that supermarket malarky you used to buy. This is a tight, sour fruited, strawberry crush number. A park popper if we ever did see one.
Cava, Funàmbul Brut Nature, 2017 - Entre Vinyes
Cava made from a three grape blend, picked from a highly biodiverse forest parcel in Penedes nick named 'The Witch's Path'. Like Champagne, this is a traditional method bubbly so one to be celebrated with both friends and family. Catalan, natural sorcery, with bubbles.
Natürlich Rouge, 2020 - Domaine Landron Chartier
Benoit Landron’s iconic Natürlich Rouge has landed. Last year’s was a lockdown 1 sensation and this vintage builds upon last years by removing all sulphur from bottling. Expect a super fun terroir driven alco-pop. If you could bottle the word ‘fun’ this would be it. ‘Natürlich’ is an overused German expression which essentially translates as ‘of course’, sip this and you’ll be saying it in no time at all.
