Mu Ska-T, 2021 - Domaine Durrmann
Bubbles for punks. This wine draws parallels to performances by the legendary Madridlenian Ska-P band back in the 90’s. Early harvest Muscat, to reduce aromatics, and guitar solos. This badboy makes you want to mosh out with your mates, albeit in a really civilised, socially distanced manner.
Pet Nat Rosé, 2021 - Entre Vinyes
Take me to your Pet Nat party! Saline, zippy goodness. Garnacha grapes picked from a Medieval parcel known as the ‘The Witches Path’ in the heart of Penedes in the countryside, just South of Barcelona. The grapes were direct pressed, fermentation kicked off in steel tanks before finishing fermenting in the bottle, known as ancestral or ‘Pet Nat’ method. Unfined unfiltered, undisgorged and no added sulphites. Legend has it that once you drink this wine, a Catalan spirit enters inside you for up to 24 hours.
Natürlich, 2021 - Domaine Landron Chartier
Benoit Landron’s iconic Natürlich Blanc has landed. Last year’s was a lockdown 1 sensation and this vintage builds upon last years by removing all sulphur from bottling. Expect a super fun terroir driven alco-pop. If you could bottle the word ‘fun’ this would be it. ‘Natürlich’ is an overused German expression which essentially translates as ‘of course’, sip this and you’ll be saying it in no time at all. For the record however, this natural wine is French!
