A Bourgogne Blanc which masters the balance between richness and elegance. This rare cuvee is a blend of the 2022 and 2023 vintages and is made with purchased grapes from 45-year-old vines in Meursault, whole bunches are direct-pressed in a basket press, fermented with indigenous yeasts, with sulphur only used after malolactic fermentation, and ageing for six months in used oak barrels, followed by five more in stainless steel tank. Regional in name only, the wine really speaks of Meursault, with impressive energy and power, a long finish, and generous aromas in gingerbread, golden delicious apple, and clotted cream.
