8th generation domaine Jean Baptiste of Chateau St Anne has a reputation of producing well made 'traditional' wines in a natural way. 50 year old Mourvèdre, picked in late October/ Made in the old fashioned way - this is a ‘rosé de saignée', a rosé made by the process of bleeding the colour instead of a direct pressing. Strawberries and minerals on the nose followed by a full mouth of juicy fruits, garrigue herbs and sweet spices. A ‘Provence’ rose, but not as you may know it.
