Refreshing and thirst-quenching ‘Edelswicker’ (local designation for white table wine by the litre) from the Durrmann family in Andlau, Alsace. A bright and zesty organic blend of Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Gewurtztraminer with notes of ripe orchard fruits, lychee and honeysuckle with subtle, slaty undertones. Due to a difficult vintage in 2021, winemaker Yann Durrmann sourced the fruit from trusted local growers, pressing the fruit slowly before fermenting each variety separately in stainless steel vats and assemblage without fining/filtration, or added sulphur upon bottling. A perfect bottle for sharing with friends this Summer alongside grilled prawns, or vegetarian dishes.
