An expressive and pure-fruited red blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Triomphe d'Alsace made without sulphur by West Country winemaker, Daniel Ham of Offbeat Wines. Bright and fresh with bramble fruit aromas, opening up to a medium-bodied palette of crunchy red berry fruits, bonfire spice and kept in check by fine, savoury tannins and tart cranberry acidity. It’s a cuvée showcasing Daniel’s experimental flair, made with grapes from three organic vineyards (in Dorset, Essex and Hampshire) across two vintages (’20 & ’21), all vinified and aged separately in a mix of Burgundian oak and stainless steel before the final blend is assembled and bottled by gravity. Coming in at a cool 9.5% ABV, it’s best served slightly chilled and paired with grilled salmon, or vegetarian dishes.
