Gamay from Gaillac! 2019 Really was a special year for the 2P vineyard. It rained well, but not too much, and when harvest came, the grapes were brimming with juice and ready to make truly fantastic wine. From a plot planted as a 75/25 mix of Gamay & Loin de l'Oeil, hooked up in a tank together for 6 days of carbonic maceration, a 6 month elevage in fibreglass, rested in bottle for a year. With Gamay season just around the corner, this gives us something to enjoy before we head over to Beaujolais for Nouveau in November.
