Cooler climate red Burgundy with stunning freshness. The Pinot Noir grapes come Sainte-Marie-Sur-Ouche, west of Marsannay, in a garden isolated with no other vines, with a stony, shallow topsoil, which undergo whole cluster semi-carbonic maceration in wooden and stainless steel vats, followed by malolactic fermentation in tanks, ageing for 18 months in 228L and 350L barrels, and bottling without filtration and fining and miniscule levels of sulphur added, if at all. Mineral-driven with a more reductive quality than his other wines.
