Altenburger specialises in celebrating indigenous varieties in Burgenland. Situated in the village of Jois between the Leitha Mountains and Lake Neusiedl - an area where, a few million years ago, was a rich ocean creating an extremely exciting terroir in this present day. With limestone and slate soils steeped in history, Altenburger’s wines are certified organic and gearing towards biodynamic too. This pet nat is a great example of the complexity of orange sparkling wines. Peachy hue in the glass, aromas of roses, lime and herbs in the glass met by a fresh and floral palate.
