Deliciously juicy and vibrant Beaujolais Rouge from winemaker Sylvere Trichard in Blasé. Aromas of plush red fruit, smoke and forest floor leads to a palate with tongue-tingling acidity, gentle tannins and mineral undertones. For this vintage, Silvere picked the grapes normally reserved for his flagship wine, fermenting it for two weeks in concrete tanks before it’s pressed off for 6 months élévage in concrete. Best served slightly chilled with poultry dishes or soft rind cheeses.
