This bottle from a Cantillon is a celebration of fruit, and designed, like kriek, to be drunk young. 20 month-old lambic is mixed with raspberries – 200g per litre of beer to be precise – which spend three months soaking, before blending with a one-year-old lambic for secondary fermentation in the bottle. Bursting with juicy berry sap, but still has that trademark Cantillon vibrant acidity and fragrance.
