A really generous and lively Pinot with a wonderful balance between vibrant red fruits and savoury, floral aromatics. The wine is produced from purchased vines planted in the early 2000s on a south and south-easting limestone slope, which undergo whole cluster, two week fermentation with indigenous yeasts, followed by 12 months ageing in barrels, and just minimal SO2 added at bottling, resulting in just 0-15ppm at bottling. Aromas of ripe cherry, red plum, rose petal and violet that are expressed beautifully on the palate too.
