Sophisticated Blaufränkisch from one of Markus Altenburger’s most celebrated terroirs in Joïs. The grapes are spontaneously fermented and aged in used oak barrels for 12 months. Really generous nose with aromas of cherry, blood orange, violets and baking spices, and the wine is equally giving on the palate, with lots of persistent acids and sappy fruit.
