Les Funambules translates to ‘The Tightrope Walkers’ and consists of 4 winegrowers who formed their own estate in 2018. They are fun-loving and so is this wine. A very refreshing expression of gewürztraminer, with only a little skin maceration, it isn’t overpowering, just deliciously fruity and enjoyable. A match made in heaven for dishes with warm spice flavours, think harissa and yoghurt, or something aromatic yet saline such as Quiche Lorraine with heaps of salad & vinaigrette.
