An original take on Macabeu, this weighty wine is produced from some stunning high-altitude vineyards. The seventy-year-old vines are grown on soils rich in clay, limestone and quartz with the grapes undergoing a long maceration on the skins followed by ageing in clay amphora. Full-bodied and vibrant, with notes of candied citrus peel, red apples, and stony minerals.
