L'Insouciance, 2019 - La Vigne Sauvage
David Humbert started in 2018 but has shot to fame with the way he makes wine. This is made from a combination of two biodynamic plots, worked by hand. No fining, no filtration and nothing added. Just pure delicious Chasselas.
Bandol, 2018 - Château Sainte Anne
One that will be enjoyed by the whole family. A wine that is made in ultra small quantities by St Anne, to be precise, just 5% of their total wine production per year. This wine glistens in a bright amber almost gold like hue. Expect fresh honey melon with subtle fennel undertones from this wine. The 50yr old Clairette Verte, Ugni Blanc vines are grown on limestone-clay hillsides with siliceous sub-soils. This is possibly one of the most accomplished white wines to have ever graced our site, we’re proud to be able to share it with you.
Buriana, 2020 - Jacopo Stigliano
‘Buriana’ loosely means melting pot or beautiful chaos. A field blend of 12 different grapes from 100 year old vines grown on limestone rich soils. Fermented on the skins for eight days, aged in amphorae and big wooden casks for a year. This is fresh, subtle, mineral, saline, and has very little acidity. As clean as they come.
