Rebela Rosa, 2020 - Slobodne
14th century winemaking history bottled into a rosé, not that often you can say that, or get this kind of value for money. Blaüfrankisch, Cabernet Sauvignon both direct pressed and fermented separately. After fermentation the wines are blended and transferred to Spanish clay amphora for about 8 months. ‘Rebela Rosa’ is a tribute to Miso’s favourite cycling race, the Giro d’Italia. The winner wears the ‘maglia rosa,’ or pink jersey. Drink this and you’ll not only find yourself in pink lycra, but generally you’ll feel like an absolute winner.

Lori of the Rhône has a process that highlights the beauty of making wine by the Med. Always made using explicit terroir expressions, or more experimental field blends, but never without purpose, this being the latter. A biodynamic blend bursting with acidity and balance galvanised by the rich limestone soils and sea breeze. The grapes spent a day in the fridge and pressed over 6hrs, co-fermented in fibreglass.

A passionate kiss. Syrah, Carignan, Mourvèdre and Grenache Noir blend. Half fermented in whole bunches, the other half direct pressed. Salty, garrigue, spiced, a rosé that reminds you of your first romance by the med.
