Blanc Caribou, 2020 - Project 108
We were first introduced to Project 108 by The Clove Club's sommelier Dominic Smith in December, and so have been eagerly awaiting this cuvé. Whole bunch Muscat and Grenache Gris grown by one another, harvested early, basket pressed into steel once macerated for 10 days. Settled sediments are stirred back through the juices. Big orange energy that is both perfect for the park as it is next to some seafood.
Carantina, 2019 - Monteforche
Clean salt and smoke - you can tell the Garganega vines of Carantina are planted in volcanic soil. Much deeper than wines typical for the grape, and definitely worth a try if you're a fan of oranges and Italians.
Orange de Noirs, 2019 - Costador
Mostly Sumoil, harvested early by Joan so the local wild boars don't get to it first. It's vibrant colour comes from a small amount of the skins being added back into the juice or a super light extraction before going into amphora for fermentation, and then being aged in oak.
