Broad-shouldered, grippy and rich, as you’d expect from the region, but balanced by vibrant acids. The wine is produced from Montepulciano on chalky-clay soils, aged in oak barrels, producing a beautiful expression of the grape with intense black fruit and savoury complexity. Has the depth to compete with the region’s big players; great value.
