Light garnet colour in the glass, it gives tangy raspberry, fennel, liquorice and tangerine notes, met nicely with Tanca Nica’s characteristic saline finish. Named after the traditional hoe used in the vineyards, and paying homage to the old ‘vignaiolo’ who once owned the land. Grapes from 50 year old bush vines from the sandy volcanic soils 300m above sea level on the North Eastern side of the island.
