Croac Croac Pink, 2019 - Clos Lentiscus
The iconic one litre ‘frog bottle’, lots of you will have seen it dotted around London’s best bars and restaurants, we’ve finally got our cheeky mitts on it for you. Expect tropical papaya. Hand harvested blend of grapes Ull de Lebre, Xarel.lo Vermell, fermented together in steel vats, before ageing for eight months. Will stand on its own two when paired with food. Shaded like a beautiful Catalan sunset, hazy orange into pink.
Love Potion, 2017 - Clos Lentiscus
We can’t officially say it's an aphrodisiac but…‘Love Potion’ does do exactly what it says on the tin, or 1 litre bottle in this case. It’s a direct press and blend of five local grapes, bottled on a waning moon for extra je ne sais quoi and va va voom. Expect nutty, saline, fruity, and a bursting zippy, gorgeous lick of acid, quench. Unfined, unfiltered, with no added sulphites. Disclaimer: the pink-y red, silver foiled label is very attractive up close and may be cuter than the person sat next to you. We think you should have this with seafood.
C'est La Vie, 2020 - Clos Lentiscus
This grabbed our attention because it somehow manages to be so low in alcohol, at 9.5%, yet extremely interesting. It has a super seductive light fizz, grapefruit-y and stone fruited. Hand harvested biodynamic Paradella, direct pressed, aged in amphora for 9 months. Bottled with no filtration, fining or added sulphur. Clos Lentiscus really showing us how the art of moderation can sometimes be the answer.
